FORT WORTH, Amerika Syarikat (AS) - Seorang guru sebuah sekolah tinggi di sini yang meletakkan jawatan selepas dia didakwa menjalin hubungan seks dengan seorang pelajar, telah ditangkap polis lapor sebuah akhbar semalam.

Guru itu, Jennifer Riojas turut ditangkap polis pada Rabu lalu atas dakwaan dia melakukan serangan seks terhadap seorang budak lelaki berumur di bawah 17 tahun.

Dia kemudiannya ditahan di sebuah penjara sementara menunggu diikat jamin sebanyak AS$20,000 (RM62,310).

Jennifer yang berumur 26 tahun bagaimanapun semalam turut dituduh menjalin hubungan dengan seorang pelajar berumur 16 tahun.

Aduan polis berhubung perbuatan itu dibuat di sebuah balai polis di ini pada 20 Oktober lalu.

Dia menjadi guru di sekolah tersebut sejak Ogos tahun lalu.

Jennifer Riojas: Teacher In School Sex Case Is Pregnant

Jennifer Riojas, a 25-year-old science teacher at Carter-Riverside High School in Texas, was jailed on Wednesday for having an ongoing sexual relationship with a 16-year-old student.

There is now speculation that the teacher may be pregnant with the student’s baby.

According to police, Riojas had sex with a 10th-grade football player. The relationship began when the boy was in the hospital recovering from a football injury.

The boy came forward when he learned that Riojas might be pregnant with his child.

Investigators soon learned that Riojas and the boy often ate lunch together and that she regularly attended his football games. The pair also reportedly had sex at several different hotels in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Riojas has resigned from her position at the school.

“I am resigning after careful thought due to increased stress on my health and pregnancy because of current working conditions. I do not believe that at this stage in my life, secondary education is my calling,” she wrote on October 21.

The district’s Office of Professional Standards accused Riojas of having sex with three male students, taking at least one to hotels.

She was booked into jail on a charge of sexual assault of a child. Her bond has been set at $20,000. The mug shot above is from a previous DWI arrest.-blitpitt
